Cynthia L. Piretto, M.A., LMFT has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the City University of New York at Queens College, and a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University. She is a Clinical Member of AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of New York.

Mrs. Piretto has worked in the mental health field for over a decade holding a number of diverse roles and responsibilities. She has created and facilitated many successful programs and workshops surrounding topics such as: Stress Management, Anger Management, Domestic Violence, and Self-Esteem. She has also received special training in helping families cope with the reality of Reactive Attachment Disorder, and the benefits from Body Centered Therapy.

It is Cynthia’s professional passion and focus to help her clients travel successfully on the road to achieving their best life vision, one goal at a time. She views therapy as a place to tap into personal, couple or familial strength and helps her clients to respect and celebrate each others unique ideas, gifts and talents, as well as their own. She believes that the therapeutic process is the most authentic place to find out what one really thinks about the world and his/her place in it, explore how genuine one has been living life in relation to his/her ideas, help the client(s) get grounded, and start a fresh path of fulfillment.
